Aktris Naomi Watts mengatakan menjadi Putri Diana adalah peran paling sulit dan menantang yang pernah didapatnya. Watts menjadi Lady Di dalam film "Diana" arahan sutradara Oliver Hirschbiegel. Film itu menceritakan dua tahun terakhir kehidupan ibunda Pangeran William. Kepada majalah Manhattan, sang aktris mengaku berperan sebagai Putri Diana tidak seperti karakter lain yang pernah diperankannya. "Ini adalah hal tersulit yang pernah saya lakukan karena pandangan orang-orang terhadap dirinya... Setiap orang merasa mengenalnya," jelas Watts, seperti yang dikutip dari situs Digital Spy.

Meski ingin memerankan gerak tubuh sang Putri semirip mungkin, Watts mengaku ia menghindari menirunya 100 persen. "Saya ingin menghadirkan esensi dari sosoknya. Itu yang paling penting untuk saya," katanya.

Watts berkata film itu akan memotret cerita yang tidak begitu diketahui publik, hubungannya dengan ahli bedah jantung asal Pakistan. "Cerita itu berakhir sedih. Setiap orang mengingat ceritanya dengan Dodi, tentu saja," katanya.

Dalam film "Diana", dokter bedah Dr Hasnat Khan diperankan oleh Naveen Andrews sedangkan Dodi Fayed, yang tewas bersama sang Putri di kecelakaan tahun 1997, diperankan oleh Cas Anvar.

Erwin Dan Gita Gutawa Bentuk Kelompok Vokal Boy Sopranos

Dengan dibantu ayahnya (Erwin Gutawa), Gita Gutawa telah membentuk kelompok vokal bernama Boy Sopranos yang beranggotakan Christo (10), Moses (11) dan Sabian (11). Terbentuknya Boy Sopranos melalui proses audisi yang ketat di Bandung ini diharapkan bisa lebih memberikan ragam dan memajukan industri musik di Indonesia.

Boy Sopranos: Kami bukan boyband

Christo (10), Moses (11) dan Sabian (11) disatukan dalam kelompok vokal Boy Sopranos oleh musisi Erwin Gutawa dan Gita Gutawa melalui proses audisi yang ketat. Ketiganya sebelumnya adalah penyanyi solo yang beberapa kali ikut dalam sejumlah ajang pencarian bakat televisi dan drama musikal. "Proses audisinya berlangsung dalam tiga tahap, kami berhasil lolos dari banyak anak-anak lainnya yang ingin masuk dalam kelompok ini," kata Sabian. Moses menambahkan: "Seperti perang yang harus dihadapi sampai harus menang," mengibaratkan proses audisi yang berlangsung di Bandung tersebut.

Dengan register suara sopran atau bagi anak lelaki dikenal dengan istilah "Angel Voice" (suara malaikat) mereka kini mencoba untuk masuk dalam industri musik Indonesia yang saat ini tengah digempur oleh aliran musik K-Pop dengan sejumlah boyband atau girlband.

Bukan boyband

"Kami bukan boyband," ujar Sabian saat ditanya Sigit Purnomo dalam program Info Musika BBC. "Kami ini trio choir (kelompok vokal) karena aliran suaranya beda dengan boyband," tambah Christo. ''Kalau boyband merujuk pada musik pop, nge-beat dan harus memakai gerakan tari sementara kami murni bernyanyi. Mungkin karena teknik suara kami yang berbeda, karena suara kami seriosa, tidak semua orang bisa dan pasti cara bernyanyipun beda dengan memakai suara sopran dan head voice,'' ujar Moses yang mengaku kurang bisa menari.

Lalu bagaimana Boy Sopranos menjawab tantangan industri musik Indonesia yang saat ini marak dengan boyband?. "Kelompok ini kan bukan untuk bersaing, kami hanya ingin bernyanyi, jadi kami yakin saja bahwa kami bisa diterima di industri musik Indonesia," jawab Sabian yang mengidolakan tenoris Russel Watson.

Ketika ditanya kenapa mereka menyukai genre musik pop klasik, ketiganya dengan kompak menjawab, "kami terinspirasi dengan lagu-lagu klasik karena terbiasa mendengarkan lagu jenis ini dari orang tua kami."

Single Boy Sopranos, Damai Bersamamu dengan iringan Czech Symphony Orchestra, kini mulai banyak diputar di stasiun televisi dan radio di Indonesia. Lagu yang pernah dipopulerkan mendiang Chrisye ini sengaja dipilih karena dianggap sesuai dengan semua kalangan, orang dewasa, anak-anak dan semua agama.

Proyek Gita Gutawa

Boy Sopranos merupakan salah satu dari proyek yang dibidani oleh pasangan ayah-anak Erwin dan Gita Gutawa. "Aku memang suka musik klasik, dari dulu memang ingin membentuk grup vokal seperti ini. Di Eropa ada kelompok yang terkenal seperti Libera atau Vienna Boys Choir, idenya dari situ, aku rasa di Indonesia belum ada. Sempat audisi ke beberapa tempat, pertama di Jakarta, ada beberapa calon tapi kurang cocok, sampai akhirnya audisi ke Bandung dan bertemulah dengan Sabian, Moses dan Christo," kata Gita Gutawa kepada BBC.

Gita mengaku nekat membentuk kelompok ini karena berdasarkan pengalaman dirinya sendiri. "Sebenarnya kasusnya sama seperti sewaktu aku pertama kali keluar, beberapa lagu aku mengusung genre classical cross over, lebih pop klasik. Dan Alhamdulillah respon untuk mereka sangat positif, mungkin karena jarang ada anak laki-laki bersuara sopran. Aku dan papa (Erwin Gutawa) merasa perlu ada wadah bagi anak-anak berbakat di Indonesia dan mendukungnya dengan musik yang berkualitas." tambah Gita.

Saat ini Gita yang tengah kuliah di Universitas Birmingham, Inggris merupakan salah satu penyanyi solo wanita sukses di Indonesia.
